Buddhism is the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life which focuses on personal spirit of life. It’s all about reaching to the state of Niravana, following the footstep of Siddhartha Gautama who went on a quest for Enlightenment around the sixth century BC. It is the story of one man’s spiritual journey in search of enlightenment.

Known as the Buddha trail, it’s the journey around the places of the Buddha’s Enlightenment of oneself. It’s a 10 day trip around those places.

Day 1:

On the very first day you arrives Delhi from where you meet your assist who will transfer you to hotel.

Day 2:

From the next day the real journey starts, hotel will transfer you to railway station from where you board the air conditioned super-fast train for Agra, Breakfast in the train, it’s 2 hour journey to Agra there you meet assist at railway station and visit the world famous Taj Mahal, build in memory of Shah Jahan’s beloved wife. You also visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. In evening transfers to railway station to board the air conditioned sleeper train to Varanasi.

Day 3:

On day 3 you arrive at Varanasi, from there you will be transferred to hotel. Later in the day you will be taken to Sarnath – where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park. This place contains the most impressive remains, as well as a modern temple.

Day 4:

On day 4 you will be visiting, Bodhgaya – the place of the Buddha’s Enlightenment, it is also known as the spiritual home of Buhddhists. It is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centre as Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree here. Night stay will be in Bodhgaya.

Day 5:

On day 5 you will be on bus to Patna for sightseeing of Rajgir & Nalanda. During the lifetime of the Buddha Magadhan kingdom is the capital of the powerful and ruled by the virtuous King Bimbisara. Hills and caves around the Rajagriha were home to spiritual teachers.

After renounced his royal heritage Prince Siddhartha came to this city to seek the path of peace. Nalanda was the most renowned university in ancient India. Later in the evening will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 6:

After breakfast on day 6 a drive to Kushinagar will be there. Here the Buddha finally attained Mahaparmirvana.

Day 7:

On day after breakfast you will be visiting the Mahaparinirvana Temple. Lumbini is the birthplace of the Buddha. In evening sightseeing tour of Lumbini will including a visit to the birth Place of Lord Buddha.

Day 8:

After breakfast a drive to Sravasti. It is the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, where the Buddha took shelter for 24 rainy seasons. According to ancient saying Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here.

Day 9 and 10:

It is all about travelling first drive to Lucknow railway station from there you will be boarding the air conditioned train for Delhi. After Arriving Delhi transferred to hotels after lunch checkout from hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi where you will visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, grand government buildings, India Gate and the President’s House. At evening you will be transfer to airport to board the onward flight to your home.
